Did you know the employer mandate only requires coverage with respect to full-time employees, but part-time employees’ hours are counted toward the determination of how many full-time employees you have on staff? For example, three part-time employees’ hours may be combined to count as one “full-time employee.” If you’re closing in on that 50-employee marker, this could have a big impact on your company.
