BYOD plz

If your office is anything like ours, there is at least one tech enthusiast in your midst. You know the type: always knows when the new iPhone is coming out, is quick to lend a hand with any IT problem, owns a pocket video camera in case a Harlem Shake breaks out at the office (as it did at ours), and brings his own laptop because its faster than the Dell you set him up with. A BYOD-er.

While consensus seems to be that BYOD (bring your own device) saves employers money and is good for employee morale, what steps should you be taking to protect your company’s information? Step one – you guessed it! – implement a very clear BYOD policy.
