You know that scene in The Parent Trap when Haley Mills realizes there are two of her? Turns out that doesn’t just happen at sleep-away camp. It happens in employment law, too. The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) is OSHA’s long-lost twin sister, affecting industries such as construction, manufacturing, and engineering.
According to an article by our partners at Fisher and Phillips, little sis MSHA is biting OSHA’s chew (which, according to the hipper elements in our office, means stealing OSHA’s thunder), with scrutiny-focused inspectors hitting the circuit at the beginning of April.
